One of Australia’s fastest growing Trade Service Group’s is coming to Queensland
You’d be forgiven for thinking the Level Group has been shaping the national Plumbing and Electrical Industry for some time, but the Group only recently celebrated its first anniversary. In the short 12-months since it was founded, an impressive number of milestones have been reached and every indication is that Level is going to continue on this trajectory in the years to come.
Some highlights from Level’s first year of operation include:
- Joining forces with 20 Plumbing & Electrical Member businesses across 6 States and Territories,
- Reaching in excess of $65M annual network revenues delivered by over 300 Level employees; and
- Forming 15 strategic supply partnerships and working closely with leading industry bodies like the MPAQ.
So why the early success? Founder and Managing Director, Luke McCallum, attributes to a Member-first philosophy since day-one that pervades every decision he and his team has made in the early days of the Group’s life:
“Running a trades business isn’t easy, that’s why a growing number of Plumbing and Electrical contractors across Australia are no longer choosing to go it alone. With the support and backing of the Level Group, we help take our Members to the next level and in turn achieve their business and personal goals.”
The Level value proposition is built around four pillars:
- Best-in-class systems and operating procedures that improve job management enabling scale with ease
- A dynamic brand system dedicated to Plumbing & Electrical, that achieves cut through, builds trust and is built to provide flexibility for each operator’s unique context
- Dedicated business support that spans strategy, finance, systems, people, sales and marketing, delivered via a dedicated Business Support Manager
- A supportive network of like minded contractors and a best-in-class Supply Chain to access knowledge and opportunities quickly
McCallum says that most Members have joined to unlock new and sustained topline growth. That’s achieved through improving operational efficiency – both through Level’s best-in-class systems and through implementation of best practices that are continuously surfaced inside the network.
“Level is what the industry and tradespeople need. Honest Member-focused support will ensure businesses have the potential to reach their goals”, said Daniel Tait, Director, Level Plumbing & Roofing Adelaide CBD
In turn, owners and operators might be seeking to reclaim their weekends or access a more balanced lifestyle after some time struggling to meet demand amongst operational and administrative drag. But beyond these immediate financial goals, it is the culture and support of being “part of something bigger” that is often the first thing Members cite first when reflecting on their experience.
The Level Group has just celebrated their inaugural annual conference in Kingscliff, Northern New South Wales. Around 100 people from Members, Supply Partners and Teams attended and the event was a resounding success. See what they got up to, here.
Looking ahead to 2023, McCallum is focused on the opportunity in Queensland to expand the Level network to meet our growing customer demands.
“We are building a large metro and regional network across Queensland, made up of independently owned and operated Plumbing and Electrical contracting businesses. Having already expanded the Level brand into Townsville and the Gold Coast, we are anticipating strong growth across Queensland in 2023.”
